Have you discussed this issue with godaddy?

Ryan, WordPress is NOT a standalone which you just can install it on your computer and it’ll magically run. It requires a web server. You don’t need to navigate to any file such as install.php as you only need to upload it to your web server then go to the URL of your website and you will be prompted to install WordPress.

Respectyoda i have only the FTP site and web i run it from there it is telling me that PHP is not running. Can you please help me with this issue step by step

You would need to talk to your hosting provider because the web server needs to be running PHP and this can be only done on the hosting side.

The easiest way to install WP on a GD hosting plan (hopefully yours is Linux, as that is the preferred platform) is with the supplied “web application installer”.

    – log into the hosting account cPanel
    – click on the WordPress icon under Web Applications
    – follow the instructions 🙂
