Thanks for posting. We use the dropdown since most people only want a few events showing in the sidebar, and showing more than 10 in a sidebar could slow down your site’s load time.
If you’d really like to show more events, you could probably do that with some customization. As outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds of customizations. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful for you:

One quick question? Can you at least tell me which file in the theme contains the code for those dropdowns? I’ve been through ’em all and can’t find it anywhere. I just want to amp it up to 15 or so.
Ahh yes, why not turn it up past 11? It looks like code you’re looking for is admin-views/widget=admin-list.php, line 18.
