    i’m happy to annouce my first wordpress Design… hope you like it. It still needs tweaking!! (but then what website is ever finished?)… but seriously it needs a few validation issues sorting out and stuff like that… oh and the contact page doesn’t acutually work yet… but it looks pretty!

    epicwaves.com

    And guess what!! Eric Meyer was the first person to comment on my website!! i’m so chuffed!!

    Oh… please do comment on the design if you think i could do something better i’m always open to suggestions. (personally i’m not 100% with the side menu navigation – what do you think?).

    Thanks all
    Regards

    Thanks so much.

    yes i have put alot of work into it… so much so i don’t feel like i’ve had a life while this project has been going on in my head!!

    That’s a really really nice looking site, I can appreciate the amount of time and effort that’s gone into it!

    The only one tiny picky little thing I noticed, of the random pictures displayed at the top, some of them have a bit of white foam the top of the wave, right where some of the numbers on the calendar are, making it a bit hard to see them!

    very cool. the search input box slightly overruns the sidebar on the right hand side when viewed in firefox/linux (@1600×1200 res)

    yeah i noticed that too when i was designing the site…. the perfectionist in me was telling me to fix it… but the only way to fix it is to be stuck with just one picture that doesn’t cause that problem… i decided rotating images to keep the site fresh was more important… besides the images changes when you click a link.

    as for the search field over running at 1600×1200 (whoa i wish i had the resolution on my computer) i can shorten the field… would it be possible to get a screen shot of that? but then really how many run that kinda resolution?

    thanks for the compliments…

    Nice design! I like the searchbox and how you integrated your calendar into your header.

    i just use absolute position ing to place it where i wanted

    ‘#wp-calendar {
    position: absolute;
    top: -235px;
    left: -10px;
    empty-cells: show;
    font-size: 1.3em;
    margin: 0;
    width: 90%;

    }’
