Email before download: [contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]

    I have used email before download in conjunction with contact form 7 for the last 4 years without a hitch, but for some reason – all of my links are presenting with the following error on my website:
    [contact-form-7 404 “Not Found”]

    My backend code used is:
    [email-download download_id=”19″contact-form-7 id=”7248″ title=”Contact Form iPhone Wallpaper”]
    My Site:

    How do I fix this?

    Hi emma2402,
    Thanks for using our plugin.
    From what you have sent it looks like you have error in email before download short code. The attribute “contact-form-7 id” is wrong, it should be “contact_form_id”.

    Hi There,
    Tried the fix, code now looks like this:
    [email-download download_id=”19″contact_form_id=”7248″ title=”Contact Form iPhone Wallpaper”]
    Still… This is the result in the actual post:
    [contact-form-7 404 “Not Found”]

    It’s actually in all my download posts… so something changed (I was able to download previously)…

    Hi Emma,

    I had the same problem last night. Took me hours to sort out and I still didn’t get there in the end.

    I ended up reverting to version 3.4.2 (had to copying from another, old, project.) Everything seems to work fine now.

    Hi Emma,

    Can you provide us with a test page that has a both CF7 and Download Monitor working on their own?

    Also, there doesn’t appear to be a space between “19” and contact_form. Make sure the short code is added on the html tab and has that space.

    Hi I think I’ve resolved
    I used “Contact Form DB” over CF7, Email Before Download and DM and now work 😀
