• i first liked that plugin very much because it is comfortable to use and and the maps look good – great plugin …
BUT … then i tried to transfer my blog to a a different webspace (and domain) and got really annoying is_dir errors … took my a couple of hours to find out it was wp google maps that caused the trouble and made nothing work anymore …
seems the plugin tries to find some temp directory at some place where it is not … if i got that right …
it is a pity because apart of that it works really fine.
you could save future users lots of time and nerves if you fix that!

when it is fixed – contact me and i will edit my rating to five stars 🙂

    Hi there 🙂
    Thank you for your message.

When you move hosts, what you need to do is change the Marker XML Dir and Marker XML URL to suit your new hosting. We provide a “suggested DIR and URL” for you which you can simply copy and paste into the relevant fields. Once you do this, the markers will work once more. This can be done in the Maps->Settings page (left navigation)

    Kind regards
    Nick
