We are unable to control the size of the modal in the new version.

EVERY modal we create (or edit a modal created in the prior version) displays at the same size, and runs to the bottom of the screen, regardless of which option is chosen.

Also, when we choose ‘responsive’ (as our theme is responsive), the setting in the drop-down changes to non-responsive when the settings are saved.

Hey gunny, responsive as the other bold options are not actually options, they were meant to be dividers but i can see now why that may be confusing. The sizes listed below that are responsive sizes.

There is also an option to allow automatic height if you use custom sizing. Responsive sizes use automatic height by default and should not be set to fixed.

Will make some UI tweaks to disable fixed while using responsive as they are incompatible.

Ahhh…yes. I see that now. I’m glad that you are making it clearer.

We are still having the problem with the size of the modal though. Even if we select “small”, the modal runs to the bottom of the screen/window. In fact, every modal appears to be displayed in the identical size regardless of which size option we choose.

I’ll wait for your next iteration of the plugin though before we do more testing on this.

NOTE: we did not encounter this problem in the prior version.

When you say size issues, the size of a responsive modal only pertains to its width. The height will always run down based on the content.

Can you screenshot what your are talking about and your display tab settings that correspond?

Live link would be better of course. you can email it if you want to keep it private. danieliser at wizardinternetsolutions.com

I will send you our admin details so that you can sign into the site and see what we are experiencing.

Every modal runs to the bottom of the page, regardless of the content. Even a single sentence results in a long modal running the entire length of the page…with lots of blank space.

Ok that sounds like a bug and i would be happy to fix it for you. Awaiting email.

Ok got it. its a conflict with bootstrap css. I only had the .modal class there for backward compatability but it can easily be added via filter for that purpose. Removing it fixed the length issue.

Thank you very much. The new version looks WONDERFUL, and we can’t wait to explore it more fully. Your plugin is simply the best of the many, many that we’ve tried.

Keep up the great work, and thanks again. 🙂
