• On the favourites page the list of favourites posts is appearing at the very top of the site above the header/menu etc as well as in the page itself.
How do it remove it from above the header please?

Also any way to change styling of favourites page? Bold/italic or font size or add thumbnails?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • I just saw your support topic while I was looking for a solution to the same problem myself.

    Did you ever solve this?

I figured out that the problem was Yoast’s SEO plugin. If you are using an SEO plugin you may have the problem. The issue comes from the fact that the SEO plugin automatically puts the page content into the site’s meta description. In this case, the only page content on the page is {{wp-favorite-posts}}. It does it this way because the SEO plugin is pulling the page content from the database. The WP Favorite Posts plugin is then processing that and return the favorite posts. Because the meta description is located in the header, that is why the questions are appearing there.

The quick and easy fix for it is to write your meta description in the SEO meta box in the editor which will replace {{wp-favorite-posts}} in the meta description.

Note that someone else in this forum has also said that turning off the Open Graph setting in Yoast fixes this.

Using the standard [wp-favorite-posts] shortcode solved this for me
