after activating this plugin commenting is disabled as expected but it also deactivates the avatar aspect of the site {of which the settings are in the now gone Discussion settings page}. i would like to show the avatar of the post author while having comments disabled, is there a way to do this?

    Hi orgnsm,

I will see if I can fix this in a future release of the plugin, but in the mean time, please try one of these options:

    1. Disable the plugin, change your settings in Settings -> Discussion, and then enable it again.

    or

    2. Instead of selecting the “disable comments everywhere” option, choose the option to disable on specific post types (and select all of them). If you do this, the Discussion settings page will not be hidden and you can still set your avatar settings.

Let me know if either of these works.

#1 worked, thank you for your time

i noticed also that you can still access the Discussion settings with the plugin enabled even though it’s not in the admin menu ( at /wp-admin/options-discussion.php )
