I like the idea of controlling my marketing system from the same dashboard as my content management system (WordPress), however, already I am confused about WordPress users, and now I need to layer on Groundhogg user access controls.

    I found this article: https://docs.groundhogg.io/docs/settings/user-roles/

However, I could benefit from a little more elaboration.

For example, what if I want to give a team member full access to Groundhogg but not to the other portions of my WordPress backend (e.g. pages, posts, other plugins)? I don’t think your existing roles cover this scenario. So I think you are saying that I should use a plug-in to modify your existing Groundhogg roles? (https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/)

Specifically the use case I have in mind is to have a form trigger a deal and have a sales or support person pick up the deal within the Groundhogg interface.
