• I hate to admit how illiterate I am in this category but I know my strengths and weaknesses and a programmer of any sort I AM NOT.

We’ve got the wp-paginate plug-in installed and when we’re entering posts onto the site most of our input is done in simple text form with the option to switch to HTML. I have quite literally no idea what code to put in to generate a new page and ensure that a page counter runs at the bottom of the post.

I’ve tried the <!–nextpage–> standard input and when I do that anything below that code disappears from the published post with no option to select the next page in the sequence.

Can anyone help out a guy who knows next to nothing with some simple instructions on how to achieve this!? All I want to do is a damn Top 10 list!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

wp-paginate is to display a list of pages for a category or archive, not for multi-page posts. Not sure if that clear or not 😉

Based on your post, I’m not entirely sure what you are looking to do…
