    i use jetpack on my site and for months couldn’t figure out why the carousel view that jetpack provides wasn’t working. turns out it was this plugin – specifically the “Override default WordPress image alt tag (recommended)” option. i can’t imagine why or how it broke it but it did. it makes the carousel view load a black background with no image and then doesn’t allow for it to be closed.
    additionally, after getting the carousel view to work after disabling that option, i noticed that the image title wasn’t appearing in the carousel view, and i tested this with every combination of options possible (just two yes/no options, so 4 total).
    i read another post on this forum, and upon reflect it seems like this plugin wasn’t actually doing what it said it does in the first place, and now that i realize that it actually broke my site as well i don’t think i’ll be using it in the future.
    i hope the developer will address the jetpack conflict issue soon, if nothing else.

  • Same problem here.
    Found what’s the bug :

    WP (or Jetpack) uses the attribute data-attachment-id to display the ID of the media, eg.

    data-attachment-id="2940"

    while SEO Friendly Images uses

    id="2940"

    I guess Jetpack cannot find the ID of the media because of that difference.

    I disable your plugin until update.
