How to make Selected Post (members only)?

This is one confusing and complicated plug-in.

Is there a way to set it so that registered members of my blog can view the protected post but everyone else cannot?

I think wordpress should have automatically built this in. For now, I’m using the stock password protect post method.

But it’s annoying to keep getting emails asking for the password once they registered.

Is there a plug-in that can do this? I don’t want all post protected. Just the ones I select. Making it only viewable by the members.
