Problems with accented words

    Hi,

    I up this post to ask the same thing. My company is thinking about buying the pro version mais the fact that it can’t deal with special characters (à, é, ‘) is really a problem because our users don’t take care about their file names.

    No answer to our question, it’s too bad…

    For complete information, I have implemented in my WP a fork in order to use the function sanitize_file_name which can clean the accentued characters in filenames. I put it in a mu-plugins and it works fine with the WP media gallery.

    But it’s still not working in WP-filebase and it is really annoying.
