Indenting paragraphs. (8 posts)

    textarea {
    color: #2b2b2b;
    font-family: Lato, sans-serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: 400;
    line-height: 1.5;

    Is this where I would add a line indenting a paragraph? What would the format be?

    Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin

    Then use its "CSS Code" section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications.

    By the way "textarea" is referring to this element:

    I will do that, thank you.

    BTW, don't paragraphs fall under "textarea"?

    No, CSS isn't clever. All it does is target HTML elements.

    Paragraphs aren't HTML elements?

    Here's a URL for you: A style sheet

    Notice what it includes that the 2014 style sheet does not.

    Paragraphs are HTML elements. They are different to textarea elements.

    You have run across the CSS for paragraphs?

    I would also like to know how to indent the first line of each paragraph as opposed to indenting the entire paragraph. I have a little experience with the CSS, but not hardcore IT savvy. I was wondering if this can be done through the backend page editor "visual" or "text", selecting text "view" as I sometimes have to do for other column or formatting adjustments.
    Can you suggest a simple way to execute this, or perhaps a simpler explanation for this simpleton? :)

    Here's the sample page I'm working my issues out on, if it helps any.

    Thank you for any consideration or assistance,
