2014: "Featuring" a Post causes the Post to disappear on the Static Main Page

    Hello All,

    I’m using the new WordPress 2014 Theme and I’m having an issue.
    When I “feature” a post on my blog, the post no longer shows up on my static front page which is set to show recent posts. How can I make it so that it shows on Featured content and also on the static front page as well?
