2014 background colour

    Hi Guys!

    I am very noob and I am hoping to get a little help.
    I managed to set up my site the way I like (kinda’) but I can not set the background colour of the content area. I learned how to change the background for each post, but I would like to turn the entire white region into black.
    I did not install anything else.
    I am very new with wordpress, but I have a little experience with HTML. 🙂
