Conflct with new Smooth-Slider plugin update (2.6 & up)

I know this is a longshot … but the news item slider I’m using on my site just released a new update that has trashed my menus. (They crunch all up together and are unreadable.)

I’ve rolled back SmoothSlider (from Slidervilla) to keep the menus working … any idea what the conflict might be?
