Support » Plugin: Fast Secure Contact Form » Can't set advanced options on Form 2

If I set any of the options on the Advanced tab for Form 2 (e.g., confirmation email settings), after I click Save Changes, I see “Settings saved” at the top, but all the fields revert back to the defaults.

One Form 1, it works just fine. This issue is only on Form 2. (I only have 2 forms, so don’t know if Forms 3 and up have the same issue.)

  • Hi forthinc can you delete form 2 and create a new form and see if this issue is still occurring?

    Thank you

I’ll try copying it to a new form and see if that works.

I did Copy Form 2 – All Settings to Form 3 (New Form). But it appears that nothing at all was copied. Form 3 is still all defaults.

Next, I tried a backup of Form 2 then a Restore to Form 3. That did set the fields correctly in Form 3 and they now match Form 2. However, it has the same issue. I cannot set anything on the Advanced tab. I really want this form to have a confirmation email and “Enable sender information in email footer” but after Save Changes, they revert back to defaults. Very frustrating after all that working setting up the form.

Hi forthinc try the following URL and let me know if that helps you.

    Kind regards

Yes! I found this in syslog: suhosin[11113]: ALERT – configured POST variable limit exceeded – dropped variable ‘fs_contact_form3[error_url]’. I bumped up the suhosin vars limits and now it works.

I was looking in the Apache2 error log, not in syslog. Good tip. Thanks!
