How can I use your plugin for this

    Hi Johanhorak,

    My apologies for the delay in reply to your question.

    This plugin is only an addon for the actual plugin that does the 301 work. This plugin extends that to allow you to bulk upload your URLs into that plugin.

    The “Simple 301 Redirects” plugin does the grunt work for what your actually asking here and that does do wildcard options. However for what your needing, wildcards wont work.

    You need:
    /luxury-camps-bay-mansion-to-rent/ to point to /listing/luxury-camps-bay-mansion-to-rent/ which you can’t wildcard.
    The same with the category URL’s – /category/atlantic-seaboard-homes/camps-bay/ can’t be wildcarded to /listing-category/camps-bay/ as they don’t match. If they were:
    /category/camps-bay/ and you wanted it to go to /listing-category/camps-bay/ then your could do:
    /category/* -> /listing-category/*

    To answer your question on how to obtain a list of links for your site, there are many online tools that will crawl your site and give you an output of your URL’s. A quick google search will give you a list of them.

    Hope that helps – once you have your CSV of the URLs you need 301’d, this plugin will help you get them in quickly 😉
