s2Member and Woocommerce Roles

    Hi all, I have woocommerce working in tandem with s2Member, I need to give a member access to be a “Shop Manager” however when I assign them as a shop manager they can’t access any member pages via the front end of the website, because they are no longer a s2Member level…

    Anyone have any ideas on how I can get the two to work together?

    I would suggest trying this:

    1. Create a new user role in s2Member that is higher than those you currently have for members, and assign it to this person. (This will ensure that s/he will be treated separately from other users, but will have the same capabilities, while also enabling you to give others the same role if you wish to do so.)

    2. Install the Capability Manager Enhanced plugin.

    3. Use that plugin to work out what custom capabilities are assigned to a “Shop Manager.”

    4. Add those capabilities to the new user role you have just created. Now anyone assigned to that role will get those capabilities.
