    Hi,

I would like to change the English & Spanish flags to custom flags. (ie English would be a simple blue rectangle with the word “English” and spanish red with “Espanol”

I have a sprite/png with these images and was able to do this with another plugin that I was using, but I like this plugin better.

Is there an easy way for me to do this?

    Thanks!

Hi, I was able to change out the flags. Now I need to change them to 30px. Is this possible? Thanks!

    Hi Christine,

I used my ftp client and went to the following directory:

    /wp-content/plugins/google-language-translator/images/flags24/

That folder contains icons of ALL the flags. I dragged the ones that I need to change (Eng & Spanish) over to my computer, opened them up in photoshop, changed to what I needed, then re-uploaded them (using same name so they’d replace previous files).

    Hope that helps!

    Hi sredfield,
Your answer helped me solve get the usa flag and mexico flag. These flags are actually in the file: /wp-content/plugins/google-language-translator/images/flags24/

What I did is downloaded the United-States.png and Mexico.png files.
I saved a copy of them and then renamed the copy to English.png and Spanish.png, respectively, on my desktop.
On the server, I renamed the English.png to English-British.png and Spanish.png to Spanish-Spain.png just to save them.
I then uploaded the desktop files, English.png and Spanish.png (using the same name so they’d take the place of the previous files).
And voila, the USA and Mexico flags are showing.
    Hope that helps someone.
