• Am using WordPress SEO and love it. Wouldn’t be without it.
I also use All In One Event Calendar.
Have noticed that for a single event page/post the default og description is similar to:

    <meta property="og:description" content="

    		When:
    		August 3, 2014 @ 7:30 am – 12:00 pm

    			Where:
Kirra Sports Club, Appel Street, Coolangatta QLD 4225, Australia

Back to Calendar Add to Calendar Add to Timely Calendar Add to Google Add to Outlook Add to Apple Calendar Add to other calendar When: August 3, 2014 @ 7:30 am – 12:00 pm 2014-08-03T07:30:00+10:00[...]
    " />

The first part is great because it gives location and time info etc.
The event has text in the body and “add to calendar” etc is being picked up instead of the text.

Is this an issue with Ai1ec or with WordPress SEO?

I can work around it by copying the body text to the description in the Social description but I don’t get the time and location details that way (unless I copy those too).

Thanks for the plugin and your replies.

  • I’ve the same issue.
without WordPress SEO, the content is not repeated, but in any case it looks terrible when shared on Facebook.

Is there a way to format that text, so that will respect the new line characters?

    Thanks
