Meta Description – different in the SERPS

    When I use your latest free SEO Yoast WordPress plugin, I can clearly see that the META DESCRIPTION doesn’t show up in the SERPS.

    What I mean is, if you write a specific text in the meta descirption box (page/post) – this text does NOT show up in the SERPS. Instead another text from the page or post is taken from google.

    If you need more info, I can simple provide a snapshot of WordPress login and you can also look it up in google.com

    I fear, this is happening to all plugin users.

    Is it just a simple bug from the plugin ? Or do I miss something here ?

    Hello Reseo,
    I just checked your site. Did you reindex the site? Google takes up to three weeks showing the description. Also Google sometimes doesn’t show the description at all. This depends on the seacrch query as well as on your site.

    In your case though, the source code is ok and nothing is missing. So I cannot see any “bug”. Maybe you just need some more patience.
