'Tracking Code' field – can I use this for other things??

    Under ‘General Theme Options’ is a field labelled ‘Tracking Code’.
    This is basically meant for inclusion of all your tracking codes like Google and Bing site verification and should insert the code into the header… So far so good 😀

    Can I use this field to parse other things into the header?

    Specifically: I would like to add Google font loading code to this, this line
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:300,300italic,700,700italic|Allerta+Stencil' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

    I’m currently using the “WP Google Fonts” plugin, but don’t like how it handles font fall back options (ignoring all Apple specific fonts). If I could insert my own loading of Google fonts (and write a child theme css) I could drop one more plugin – always good to keep the list slim…
