 * Read release of security updates, 2.1.3 and 2.0.10. But download link only accesses
   2.1.3 download. Where do I go to access the 2.0.10 update?

 * Any known issues upgrading from 2.0.6 to 2.0.10?
 * Please advise. It’d be nice to have a little professional “it’s ok, not a problem”,
   or “be aware of the following.. xxxx xxxx”, etc. before I take the plunge.
 * I didn’t see this upgrade path covered anywhere else.
 * Muchos Gracias!

 * Nothing unusual in the upgrade. No need to overwrite the theme folder, but the
   plugin folder does have an Akismet update.

 * So existing database structure should be fine, etc?
 * Should I restart mySQL server after the upgrade?
 * Will plugins that work for 2.0.6 continue working with 2.0.10? I had some issues
   with the quoter plugin from 2.0.3(or 4) to 2.05 (or 6)… due to some core code
   changes…

 * Just run the upgrade script at /wp-admin/upgrade.php when all files are uploaded

   Plugins should be fine – though you should de-activate them prior to install.
   Databse will be fine – no need to restart mysql.

 * And, as always, backup everything first. Just in case.

 * I’m a big fan of those helpful posts by those wiser than I where they offer some
   guidance (if you’re from version X, then just update these files); here’s what’s
   changed, here’s what you need to do. Seems like there’s a few more hoops this
   time around.

 * Not really. The upgrade process never really varies.
 * 1. Backup all the files in your WordPress installation.
    2. Backup the database.
   3. Delete these from your server: /wp-admin /wp-includes everything in the root
   except your personal files and wp-config.php Generally, you leave wp-content
   alone. 4. Upload all the new wordpress files. 5. Load a browser and go to [http://yoursite/wp-admin/](http://yoursite/wp-admin/).
   If the database needs an upgrade at this point, it will tell you so. If it does
   not, then it doesn’t need one.
 * And that’s basically that.

 * It is there… [http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/](http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/)
   (
   keep in mind: 2.0.10 will be after 2.0.1 and NOT after 2.0.9!)

 * I administer two wordpresses. One is at 2.0.5 and the other is at 2.0.7. I plan
   to upgrade both to 2.0.10. I downloaded 2.0.10 from [http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.0.10.zip](http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.0.10.zip)(
   thank you Otto42, for pointing to the URL)
 * Is it necessary to go from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6, 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 etc. etc up to 2.0.10?
   Or will any security issues be covered by simply uploading 2.0.10? (after complete
   backup of both wps, naturally)

 * No, you don’t need to go through all those steps; go directly for 2.0.10 in both
   cases.
