No Video Image in slider, blank box

Master Slider video shows up blank in post. I use TubeChop to shorten videos and wonder if that is what causes the blank slider box. Videos will play when play button is clicked twice. Can you tell me how to show videos and autoplay them. Adjusted settings but still no video, just plain box with arrows.
Question: Do I need to add a thumbnail for the video and how do I do that?
Am I using wrong settings or slider option? Does MS not work when videos are edited outside of youtube?
