setting the homepage whole content in the social share buttons

    Hi, I’ve installed jetcpack and I have also activated the social button sharing.
    I decided to put them in the footer and so I followed these instructions
    All works fine except for the home page.
    In fact I have a sort of gallery with the best works done and when I go to clic on social buttons (e.g. facebook, twitter, google plus etc.) the excerpt appearing on the new window that tell me I’m going to share takes only the latest work and not the whole home page excerpt. How can I fix this?

    Hi,
    Were you able to get anywhere with this issue? I have the same problem. If a user clicks share buttons on my front page, the link they are sharing is the last entry in my slider cpt. I would like them to share the main url ( whole site) from the homepage. Any direction would be very much appreciated. Thanks

    They answered to me that jp social buttons are planned for only posts and pages and they don’t provide further support.
    If you get this thread fixed, please, let me know it.

    I got tired of screwing around and simply hid the sharing icons via css on the page I was having a problem with. Still looking for an ideal social button plug in…
