Social Buttons showing or not ?

    I see in plugin setup where you can select Content or Excerpt for the social buttons to show or not, and I only want them showing on the content page, so have only Content selected but the buttons are still showing on SOME of the entries on the main blog page. Why would the buttons show on some and not others ? I dont want them to show at all on that main blog page but to show inside the post page itself.

    Some show buttons, others dont. Those WITH the buttons are also messed up and not showing excerpts of the text either so they must be related to the button issue too….but I dont know what.

    Your theme can use either the content, the truncated content (aka more link), or the excerpt. It sounds like your theme is using the content – sometimes full length, and sometimes truncated. It’s up to the theme to display the content, truncated content, or excerpt — NGFB only adds the buttons to the content and/or excerpt, top and/or bottom.

    You could also try unchecking the ‘Include on Index Webpages’ and ‘Include on Static Homepage’ options. 😉
