• I noticed a strange thing in NextGen plugin (2.0.66) (WordPress 3.9.1).

If I create a gallery named test1 via
    Add Gallery/Image (xxx.xxx/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ngg_addgallery),
the path value in _ngg_gallery table
    is /wp-content/gallery/test1.
But if I create a gallery named test2 via
Manage Galleries (xxx.xxx/wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-manage-gallery), button Add New Gallery, the path value in _ngg_gallery table
is wp-content/gallery/test2 — without first slash.

It’s quite strange and may lead to some errors, in my opinion.

Hope it will be corrected soon.

@shurix239 – Is this something that can be consistently recreated? I’m not seeing this in any of my test sites.

I tried it again 5 minutes ago.
Here is the copy from phpmyadmin (_ngg_gallery):

    gid name slug path
    16 test3 test3 wp-content/gallery/test3
    17 test4 test4 /wp-content/gallery/test4

So in my site it’s being recreated.
If you need more information, I will give it to you.

@shurix239 – That does not appear consistent, although I do understand what your are describing.

Have you tried our latest public beta version? See this page for more details: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/ … and/or have you checked for possible conflicts with other plugins, especially any plugin that deals directly with the database such as optimizers for example.
