Search custom resume fields

Im trying to figure out a way to search resumes on some of the custom fields that we created for resumes. Right now it looks like the get_resumes() function in class-wp-resume-manager-ajax.php looks like it only searches “location”, “keywords” and “categories”. Im not exactly certain what keywords searches. Im going to add some custom fields on the search form also, but it looks like I am going to need to modify the plugin itself to search on those terms?

If anyone has any advice on the direction to move with this, it would be really helpful. I would love it if it already has the functionality I am looking for and Im just missing it 🙂
