    Hi,

    With the way the widget works, since it needs a specific size for the image, which we can’t assume will exist on the site, we use the Photon CDN to serve/resize the featured image used.

    I don’t believe it’s possible to change what thumbnails are used or where they’re served.

    You can change the default (your Gravatar) if you’re like to change it for posts without featured images/those that Jetpack can’t determine an image to use. If this is what you’ll like to tackle, let me know.
