2 years of backups gone

    I checked my backup today (have it scheduled for weekly backup) and found all backups are gone back to August of 2018. I did a manual backup today to make sure it’s all backed up. When I checked last week, all of the backups were there (I usually keep one backup for each month and clear out the rest). Is there a problem with my account?

    There should be no issues with the account as far as we can tell.

    We should reproduce to understand why this happened to you.
    Is the backup you did yesterday present today as well?

    Also, what other steps did you take before backing up manually? We need to understand the path you took.

    Yes, the backup I did manually is there. I check about once a week to make sure the weekly backup is working. A couple of weeks ago, all of my backups were there, then when I checked a few days ago – all were gone back to August of 2018.

    Dear @sblades ,

    Generally all backups are also kept here if you access them via the FTP client: wp-content/uploads/backup-guard

    So, there is a way to retrieve them.

    This issue you mentioned is quite strange to be honest. Please, keep an eye on it for some and let us know if you notice something strange.
