2 profiles with same user name

    I was having problems logging into wordpress.org. In my attempts to log in, I created a second profile with the same username and address. Is there a way I can delete or inactivate this second profile? I created my first profile through bluehost. I did change the email address connected to the second profile but it won’t let me change the username. If this can’t be deleted, will it be a problem to have two profiles with the same username..especially when it comes to logging in?

    There is no connection between your account here on WordPress.org and the account you use to log onto your own self-hosted WordPress site.

    In my attempts to log in, I created a second profile with the same username and address.

    As the system here on this site doesn’t permit that, that would be a neat trick.

    Are you trying to use the account on this site wordpress.org to log into your own site? If so that won’t work. The accounts here cannot be used anywhere else.
