# 2 Problems.

 * Hey all!!
    Im having 2 problems with my wordpress blog.
 * I followed the Installation step by step guide and use filezilla to move the 
   files over to my server.
 * I can log into the blog fine and make general blog posts, at the start.
 * The first problem Im having is to do with adding new categories and adding users
   from the dashboard.
 * Every time I try to do this, an error comes up like this.

 * A straight up answer, understandable to a basic user like me would be great!!

 * The second problem occurs when I try to upload a file to the post Im making, 
   for example a photo.

 * I understand there is some kind of setting not right, but I dont know how to 
   go about correcting it.
 * Surely if I followed the installation step by step on this wordpress website 
   I shouldnt be having these problems.
 * I downloaded WordPress and Installed it today
    So I cant see any reason for the
   software to be out of date or anything along those lines.

 * Your first error appears related to mod_security or file permissions. You might
   search here for “permission admin-ajax.php” and see what pops up.
 * Regarding the second: you see where that image error asks you, “Is the parent
   directory writable?”. That’s a valid question! It is also a great thing to type
   into the search field on every page here and find thousands of similar questions—
   many with answers! 🙂
 * You’re going to change directory permissions. Some reading to get you started:
