2 plugins in one ?

    Hello,

    When installing this plugin it installs 2 plugins. One called “Help Scout” and another one called “Help Scout Desk”….

    Furthermore no page like you refer to with your instructions to:
    “View the new settings page within the admin to configure”

    Please advice here…

    Are there seriously no reply here. We would prefer to buy the product on top of this plugin, but the plugin does not work and the company not even answer.

    I will ask https://www.helpscout.net/ now.

    Hello,

    I want to apologize that I wasn’t able to respond to these in a reasonable time…since this is a new plugin I forgot to setup notifications.

    Anyway, there has been a couple updates without a version update. This is because this plugin is officially not yet released. So if you were to download again and updated version would be installed and you’ll be able to see the new admin.

    Hopefully you updating will fix the issue.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the update here.

    It still installs 2 plugins when you install. One is called “Help Scout” and can be activated, the other one is called “Help Scout Desk” and can’t be activated.

    I’m pushing out version 4.0.1, hopefully it will resolve this issue since WP is delivering the old version.

    Seems like it came now and one plugin dissapeared. But now config options is in the backend.

    After a fair bit of testing I’ve finally figured out why this plugin was not working; 4.0.2 will resolve this for you. Please test again and let me know how things go.

    Technically: the issue revolved around a role capability not being created on activation, one that is created with the installation of HSD.
