    I’m very sorry that Smush didn’t meet your requirements.

    Please note, the free version of Smush plugin only compresses thumbnails and image sizes generated by WordPress, any image larger than 1MB will be skipped. If images are smaller than 1MB, shouldn’t be having any problem at all.

    We appreciate your feedback and we are doing our best to remove limitations. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to make changes in Smush so you could reconsider using it.
