 * hi! i hope this is the right place to ask this.
 * supposed i have these categories (A,B,C,1,2,3). i want to display those categories
on different sidebar. for example **categories A,B,C** on the right sidebar and**
categories 1,2,3** on the left. can this be done?

 * You can do it if both sidebars are not using widgets and the exclude parameter
is used in wp_list_categories. See [Good Navigation Links](http://codex.wordpress.org/Good_Navigation_Links).

 * thanks! i’ll try that later. one more, if you don’t mind. i set that articles
from uncatogerized will always be displayed on the frontpage. i want to keep
these articles published but i also want to hide uncatogerized category so it
won’t show on the category list. can it be done as well?

 * If you are not using widgets you can exclude categories from the wp_list_categories
   function.
