Support » Plugin: Visibility Logic for Elementor » 2 annoyances with 2.x update

The plugin is now producing two annoyances since the 2.x line:

    1. “Awesome, Visibility Logic database is now at the latest version!” banner won’t go away and has no way to dismiss it.
    2. It’s a waste of space and totally unnecessary for the plugin to have its own “Visibility Logic” entry in the WP admin sidebar. It should be under “Settings” since it doesn’t have multiple pages of it’s own (like Yoast SEO or Elementor).

Hi, thanks for letting us know. You are right, we will move it under Settings.

@djosephdesign related to the message that is not disappearing:
    – do you have the latest version 2.0.3?
    – after a page refresh or going to dashboard it still appears?

    Thanks

Thank you so much for updating #2! I wish more plugin authors would listen like you do!

About #1, I’m now on 2.1.0 and that banner still displays after refreshes and visiting different admin pages.

that is strange, we pushed 2.1.1. can you check with that?
Also you can check if the settings migrated fine by going to an element you know had some restrictions applied in Elementor and see if they look right in the new format.

    Thanks again for understanding

Strangely, the notice eventually went away on its own while I was still on 2.1.0.

    Thanks for your quick help!

Glad to hear that! Thanks for your patience.

    All the best
