Support » Plugin: WP HTML Mail - Email Designer » loses Divi-support?

  • Resolved dropshot

I’ve been testing versions rolling back and forth. This is what I found.

    When updating > 2.9.1

*) Divi Contact Form is no longer listed on the plugins tab

It is still working but you don’t have the options available.

*) HTML-tags are no longer stripped. They are sent as plain text. So with I could set up the content like this:

And the service field would be put as a h1 styled by the options within WP HTML Mail. Super cool. With the update the html is no longer stripped, in other words just output as plain text.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

  • Hey @dropshot
Divi is back again in todays update.
The issue with HTML tags has been discussed in another thread but in short:
For security reasons the plugin does only keep HTML tags if a “Content-Type: text/html” header has been set. Otherwise it is just text.
If for any reason you can’t set this header (maybe because the email is sent by a plugin and not within your code) you can turn on a new option on the tab “advanced” to allow wrong or missing headers. This new option is also included in todays update.

    Thank you for your reply!

I’ll update and give it a try.
