Just updated to 2.17 and it also messes up the CSS of the site. I have not experimented with anything yet as Breeze has always been one of those plugins that just works, and now it does not. Hopefully others have the same issue and can point developer in a direction but my site isn’t high priority so I’ll just keep it disabled for now.

Did you clear cache after update?
If yes so please share your Breeze settings.

Yes, I cleared Breeze cache and browser cache. Settings are default. I just turned off Lazy Load images and site displays properly. Turn on Lazy Load and site does not display properly. I’m using SiteOrigin Vantage theme.

It serve from Browser cache. Please check on different browser.

No, unfortunately it is not serving from Browser cache. I am logged in to the site in Safari and have a Firefox window open to check the site. I clear Firefox cache each time after changing settings in the Safari window, also purge Breeze cache before refreshing the Firefox window. I’ve checked the site from both Android and iPhone and they exhibit the same behavior.

As we tried to replicate it at our testing server but were not able to replicate it.
We would really like to resolve the issue, would it be possible for you to reach out to us via the support channel?
Please do mention this thread to our support team and they will escalate the case to us.

Will do. Just FYI for others who may find this thread… I have two sites on Cloudways and both of them exhibit the same behavior. Both use SiteOrigin Vantage theme. Lazy Load images in Breeze on, CSS is changed and styling is off. Lazy Load images in Breeze off, everything is normal. Caches cleared, completely different computers, phones, tablets. Definitely Breeze changing something in the CSS. Have inspected in console and the CSS being served is completely different when Lazy Load is on.

I confirm. In addition, I would like to add that when “HTML Minify” is activated, the product pages (single product) are no longer displayed (they are empty while the rest of the site looks OK) and if “HTML Minify” is disabled and “Combine JS” is activated, no image is displayed on pages.

    Cache System – ON
    Gzip Compression – ON
    Browser Cache – ON
    Lazy Load Images – ON
    Cross-origin Safe Links – ON
    CSS Minify – ON
Font remain visible during load – ON
    Include Inline CSS – ON
    Combine CSS – ON
    JS Minify – ON
    Include Inline JS – ON

Already tested on Firefox and Chrome using Woodmart theme on desktops and mobile devices. You need to clear the cache on browser apps in order to reproduce the case.

Many thanks in advance for a fast fix.

I have the same issue on all 12 of my sites that are using Breeze. Version 2.0.15 is fine, but 2.0.16 and 2.0.17 both have the same issue. I have rolled back all my sites to version 2.0.15 for now, but hopefully the developer is able to fix the issue in the next update.

Thanks for highlight the point. As investigate and fount that while enables the Lazy load and Cross Origin options, the issue appeared when a script was already inside an HTML comment, and we had a conflict of HTML comments by having a comment inside a comment.

    As shown in Screenshot

We are working on it and release the fix ASAP.

I’m glad you figured out the temporary fix of disabling lazy loading. I will patiently await a release, so I can enable lazy loading again.

I also have the same issue and so have rolled back to 2.15. Would really appreciate a fix. Thank you kindly.

For anyone who may come across this thread… version 2.0.18 fixes all issues. I’m even able to have minify and combine settings turned on for the first time! Thank you @adeelkhan for all the hard work this looks great so far on my sites.

Great news! We will check this version asap.

Awsome news, I’ve updated the plugin and it’s now working perfectly on most of my sites. But unfortunately still having issues on three of them.

Two of them just show blank white pages whenever the plugin is active, and the other is completely messed up. The issue seems to ocur whenever I have the main “Cache System” setting enabled.

All three sites are running the Astra theme, and when I switch to a different theme, the problem goes away. So it seems to be some sort of conflict with Astra, but weirdly I have two other sites running Astra that are not affected by this issue.

Anyone else had a simmilar issue?

I’m still having issues on Woodmart. I cannot use “Include Inline JS” and/or “Combine JS”. No image is loaded if they are active.
