Support » Plugin: WordPress Page Builder - Beaver Builder » 2.1.3.5 breaks with Astra Theme?

  • Hi! I use Beaver Builder on three separate sites, and a recent update, one of these sites now has a broken Beaver Builder editor. I think it’s a CSS problem, because I see the editor elements like the beaver image, the done button, and the + sign, but they’re all scrunched in the top left corner. Clicking any of them, unfortunately, brings up only one of the menus, so I can’t save my work or add a module.

    I uploaded a screenshot to imgur: https://imgur.com/a/3A2b2QT

Although this could be a plugin issue, I suspect it’s a conflict with the Astra theme, because this site has relatively few plugins compared to the other sites. The other sites have other themes and still work fine.

I tried both 2.1.3.5 (Premium) and 2.1.3.4 (Lite). The same problem is in both.

Question: can I downgrade to a recent version without corrupting the database? This page: https://kb.wpbeaverbuilder.com/article/607-downgrade-to-a-lower-version-of-beaver-builder talks about “downgrading” but only to a different license, not a different version. If there’s a KB page that clarifies when it is safe to downgrade to a recent version, please post the link.

Also, if you have any CSS tweaks that could fix this while waiting for an official fix, that would be awesome. Thank you!
