Hello,
That is quite odd because I have tried updating to the latest version and not facing the issue.
I would request you to please update the version on your staging site for testing and if you are experiencing the same issue, kindly share the snapshot of your editor page and page URL to check it.
Here you can see same discussion with Astra theme and problem is in Theme – Gutenberg?
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/background-image-displaying-on-post-editor/
I used plugin “Disable Gutenberg” and it also fixed problem. So problem is in OceanWP how it handles Gutenberg. Website background image added in OceanWP will show also in Gutenberg Post/Page editor, please remove this! As far as I have understood the Gutenberg is default editor that comes in WordPress, at least I have not installed any Gutenberg plugin.

Hello,
Gutenberg is the exact match of frontend – backend. This is what Gutenberg compatibility means. You can also check in any default theme like twentytwentyone.
Hi,
Sorry I do not understand. Difficult to think why would you want to add this kind of compatibility and not to give users chance to remove “show background” feature? I do not want to change theme because otherwise theme is good.
Check pictures and you maybe understand my problem with version 2.0.7. (click picture to see all 3 pictures)
Greetings,
Henri

Hello,
I have passed this to the concerned dev team to look into it and We will try to add an option in the next version to add remove it as per user choice.
Hi,
Thank you, I appreciate it. Looking forward to it.
Any news to this? Did 2.0.9 fix it? I doubt it unless this is it:
* **Fixed** – Gutenberg: layout issue with block alignfull and alignwide.
I do not want to test and possibly destroy my Web page editing again or cause other issues with my pages.
