I’ve used this to create a public members’ directory for our association. I uploaded my current MailChimp list using a CSV file, but I might not have done it right since it only populated the Members’ Directory with automatically-generated icons and first names, and added them as Subscribers in my Users list in the WordPress dashboard. The users will have to reset their passwords and enter the rest of their information by themselves. Email notifications do not handle some foreign characters like the “e” with an accent over it. It took me a little while to figure out how to edit the fields that appear on the directory and profile pages, but it is working.
