Do you mean LITERALLY http://localhost/wordpress/wp-login.php ? Because you’d log in using: http://YOURSITENAME.com/wordpress/wp-login.php

If he’s working local on his pc or mac it should work with the localhost. Maybe you could try to put .local after your computername
