Blog List summary page

I have created a blog template page and am trying to make it look like the blog list summary page in the virtue demo site:

http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue/blog/

I have selected the Summary option in the Display Post Content as part of my blog page. However, the number of lines showing is not limited. I am trying to limit the number of text showing in the blog summary page with a link to the post to continue reading… “Continued”
