Posts Not Showing

    For some reason my posts are not showing in some of my menu items. Example: My menu “Marketing” has a post , but it is not showing. I have the page completed, category and menu item. All the other menu items are correct and working properly.

    This is a first for me since I have been using WordPress for years. It is updated version 3.9.1 using a purchased template.

    I tried using the Twenty Fourteen template to see if it would work, but it is the same for that template…the post is not visible. I must be missing something.

    Specific posts not showing. I wrote several posts to place in different pages on the menu.

    I wrote a post to be put into the “Advertising” page/menu and another for the “Marketing” and “Video”. They did not show and these are new menu items.

    All other posts have been OK.

    No. That is about videos and images. My issue is that specific posts are not appearing on specific pages.

    I just wrote a post and put it on a page titled (in the menu) Artist Interviews. That worked. But when I write a post for Marketing or Advertising (these are pages and menu items) they are not showing after I post them.

    I tried using the Twenty Fourteen template to see if it would work, but it is the same for that template

    Have tried switching to the UNEDITED Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Yes and it is still the same. These are sub-menus that do not contain the posts. All the other sub-menus from being set-up months ago work. These are recently set-up.

    I clicked on “view post” in the edit post section. It shows the post in the menu, but not in the sub-menu. But when I click on the menu outside of the dashboard (using browser)it is not in the menu or sub-menu.

    I have a featured image in the posts. Tried changing the permalinks settings but that didn’t work.

    Any other thoughts?
