I put back an earlier version of this plugin. That is weak, but obviously, more than nothing. Actually, the latest version is quite good but blocked writing @ and & in a contact plugin.

    I haven’t tried anything else.

    What can we do now?

    Thanks

Funny. I have the problem that ‘i’ and ‘j’ can’t be used in title fields of bbpress forums. It’s definitely this plugin that is the culprit, disabled them all one by one (pro version).

    Hi Inge,

This bug has been fixed. Please contact our support at support@securiilock.com. We’ll gladly assist you there.

This forum is for free version support only!

    Thanks

    Hi titaan,

Which contact plugin is it that you are using? We are unable to reproduce the error on our end. Have you tried disabling the contact plugin and then, entering the @ and & symbols? You could also test these symbol inputs in your site search bar.

    Please let us know.

    Thanks

    Hi guys,

I am using fast secure contact form. I updated it to version 4.0.25 and now I can write @ mark into the form field. And I also updated WP content copy protection to version 1.1.3. So both of them are the latest versions and they are working at the moment. But definitely the content protection plugin was the incorrect, I’ve checked all of them before. One problem has been solved.

The other still: I can’t write & mark to the field. It is unnecessary now because I don’t need this caracter, but it is disturbing.

    However, <#@]łŁ$ߤ marks are okay.

I have no more idea. I can use the email filed with @ caracter in the contact form from now but it could be bad for those who want to use & mark somewhere.

And thank you very much for your help!!

    Regards,
    titaan

    Hi titaan,

Thank you for posting back here. We are glad to hear that your issue is resolved. We will certainly look into the issue with the & character input.

Tell me, are you able to type the & character into the search bar (assuming that your site has one).

Thanks again! We appreciate you taking the time to post an update here.

@everyone else with this issue: Please follow aforementioned steps to resolve.

    Regards

Yes, into my browser, google serach box, is okay. And on my site I can use & caracter in posts as well.

But! On my site, I cant write & mark to the small search box on the main page!

(I’ve just noticed that my updating was not as success as I wanted to do. I downloaded the latest version of wp content proteciton and copied the files to public html/wp-content/plugins/wp-c.pr. via FTP and I overwrote the old version of this plugin. So it was updating…

But… The wordpress shows the older version and notifying me to update… What is it? That is so interesting… So actually, I don’t know that I am using the latest version of wp-content protection or not… I can use f12 on my site and if I’m not mistaken, the newest version doesn’t allowed to use it… Or not?

Then, when I am not on the plugins label in wp admin, there is no notification for updating on the top of the screen…

Have you ever had problems with updating with wp content protection? I do refreshes in the same way with other plugins and they are working…

Waaaaaaa! Oh guys, it is gettin’ stranger and stranger :).)

    Thank you very much,

    titaan

“But! On my site, I cant write & mark to the small search box on the main page!” and I can use >#@{]łŁ$ߤ ones…

    Hi guys,

I think the problem is caused by c and v characters. We cannot use Ctrl+c and ctrl v because of the copy protection, but I think the plugin is not clever enough to know that altgr+v is different from ctrl+v.

I have the latest version of this plugin and still it doesn’t work properly. Version 1.0 or 1.1 was OK but this one 1.1.3.2……….

    Any idea?

    Thanks
