[Featured Video Plus] How to stop video from looping

    Hello,

    I have a video on my home page and I use the Featured Video Plus plugin (I use the [featured-video-plus]shortcode and it replaces featured image automatically).

    I do not have the video set to loop and yet it loops. I’d like to know how to stop the video from looping (so just run once when the page loads and then stop and display the last frame only as a static image).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    I apologize for not posting a link to my site, I’m developing locally on a DiskStation at the moment.

    This question was started over six months ago and still no answer. Please could someone tell us how to stop videos from looping. The “false” command doesn’t work.

    Edit plugin. Find file ‘general.php’. Look around line 71. Remove this entire line:

    ‘loop’ => ! empty( $options[‘local’][‘loop’] ) && $options[‘local’][‘loop’] ? ‘on’ : ‘off’,

    Many thanks! When I couldn’t find a solution and nobody was responding to the issue I started looking for other plugins. I am now using Secure HTML5 Video and it’s great. No problems with it.
