Insert Link brings up Blank Page

    I just upgraded my wordpress from 2.5.1 to 2.6.1. When I click on “Insert Link” in the Manasge Posts section I get a blank page. Any clues where to look?

    This also happens when I click “Insert Media” in the lower toolbar; if I click on the “add media” button above the toolbar it works just fine.

    This lower toolbar appears new in 2.6.1 .. I have a 2.6 version that doesn’t have this. Or perhaps I just am missing it. AHHHH .. if I edit in “HTML” mode it’s not there; if I edit in “Visual” mode it is. My 2.6 installation brings up a nice window when I click insert image.

    I downloaded the 2.6.1 installation ZIP file, unzipped it, then copied my theme from my old install to the new install and am using that. Is it perhaps a problem with my theme?

    This is what happens in IE. I tried it in firefox to try to figure out what’s going on.

    I get the message “You have chosen to open link.htm which is a HTML document from http://yoursite

    What should Firefox do with this file?
    () Open with Internet Explorer
    () Save File
    [] Do this automatically with each file from now on”

    This is most certainly an odd message … perhaps it gives a clue as to what is going on?
