Suddenly Dropbox upload isn't working – any ideas?

    Hi,
    my current version of BackWPup is 3.1.3-beta6 and it has been working ok without any warnings up to last sunday night when my timed backup job produced errors like below after the connection to Dropbox had been established:

    …1,46 GB available on your Dropbox
    [07-Hei-2014 18:04:03] Uploading to Dropbox …
    [07-Hei-2014 18:04:32] ERROR: Dropbox API: (6) Couldn’t resolve host ‘api-content.dropbox.com’

    So the backup job ends with errors and no new backup is available. For short term it seems the only possibility to generate a backup manually and upload it to my local computer.

    I haven’t found any fix for this, but there are WP-related comments about this type of error indicating a change in the host environment (API interface or something…). I do not know of any such changes in my case.

    Does anyone have any ideas where this comes from and how to fix it?
